Meet Becki
Becki Nunez is the founder and namesake of Becki’s Tax and Bookkeeping. In 2002, Becki started working as a bookkeeper using QuickBooks and grew her client base through word-of-mouth recommendations. In 2011, Becki was brought into the Economy Tax Services team to learn the art of individual tax preparation, by her mentor Darwin Jensen, with the focus of growing her client base and starting her own business venture. Since then, Becki has strived to provide the services that both her bookkeeping clients and her tax clients might need. She regularly attends training to ensure that she is knowledgeable on the most up to date tax codes and standards.

Becki is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP), currently serving on the California State board of the NATP, as well as being a member of the California Society of Tax Consultants (CSTC). As a member of both NATP and CSTC she is able to keep current with the ever changing tax codes and professional standards that people look for when choosing their tax Professional.

Becki’s values are rooted in service quality and integrity. From the software she uses to the training she attends; she is always considering what value this could add to her clients. Becki grew up on the Central Coast, where her father was a business owner and her mother was a nurse. Becki remained on the Central Coast and raised her own family here. Becki’s kids did not all stay local, which has contributed to her tax preparation business growing outside of our local area. While not working, Becki enjoys spending time with her grandkids and church community.
